Scott's Thoughts 11/23/08

Wow!  Sunday Services at Parkrose blew my mind.  Not just the worship/message in the auditorium but let me list a few things that should excite all of us:

  • The renewed sense of safety.  Chuck DeKar and Josh Gregory have led the charge in making the Parkrose Campus a safe place for all.  I am so proud of their leadership and commitment to this.
  • Moving Children's Ministry classrooms downstairs.  A big thanks to Bob and Susan Wilson, also my lovely wife Gwenna, for helping with this transition.  It helps us manage our growing Family Ministry area with excellence.  (We had 67 children and 18 students today!)
  • There was a buzz in the church today and it wasn't just the hundreds of cups of coffee being brewed by Mari.  People were building relationships and the love was among us!
  • The worship was "off the chain" and very moving.  God is good.  Thank you Devon and the worship team.
  • Lots of visitors!
  • Lots of Love!
  • And a whole lot of answered prayers....

I am so proud to be part of the Parkrose Campus Family.  God is good and moving in a powerful way!

Have a Great Thanksgiving Holiday!

Go Dallas Cowboys! Go OSU Beavers!

In His Mighty Name,

Scott
