The holiday season is upon us and with that can come anxiety, stress, and financial difficulties. This year may be extraordinarily difficult for many as our economy has weakened and many are without work. My prayer is that we remember to give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever! No matter where we are, who we have become, or the unstable circumstances that surround us, God has not forgotten us. He never leaves us or forsakes us. May you find great joy and peace this holiday season. May His love fill your heart and cause you to cry out “Thank you Lord! You are good! Your love endures forever!”
I want to encourage you come to church this weekend. We are beginning a 3 week series called, “A Place of Grace.” I am so excited for this series as it speaks to the heart of our church and who we are called to be; people of grace. This would be a perfect opportunity to invite your friends and family. We have 2 services at Parkrose; 9:30 and 11:00 AM. Our children and student ministries are “off the chain!” The coffee is good and our Life Cafe is open to all who like a good Mocha or Latte.
Many people are connecting to the life of the church. The past few weeks we have seen record numbers of people in attendance and God is changing lives! The best evangelism is a changed life! Share your story with someone this week.
